Food is one of our basic needs to
live. Our human body needs an adequate supply of essential nutrients for normal
growth and development. But many people suffered from malnutrition and
starvation. This is one problem that are country are encountering today.
Malnutrition is when we do not meet the
nutrition that are body needs. One reason why some of us is suffering from
malnutrition and starvation is because of poverty. They cannot afford to buy
food and follow the balance diet. They just only eat one meal a day. And yes,
they can eat food sometimes, but the food that they are eating are not
nutritious,staple and fresh. They will eat anything as long as it will make
their stomach happy. Smoking, drinking liquors and taking illegal drugs is also
a reason causing malnutrition.
Well we can be healthy and not be
malnourished and starving our tummy by nourishing and feeding our body in a
better way. First of all buy goods that is fresh and nutritious. Buy also
staples in large quantity and from small quantities get a perishable foods. Do
not cheap foods like junk foods and street foods. Canned foods should be bought
by their labels on trademarks.Check the foods if it is spoiled or expired. Take
vitamins.Eat three meals a day. Drink juice and 8 glasses of water a day. Visit
your doctor once a week. Do not forget to exercise. Healthy eating requires a
basic nutritional needs at a different stages of life. Having a healthy body is
good. We are free from any diseases. We can live life to the fullest.
